There’s an SF Latino Film Festival that operates there, in the Bay Area, independently. I live in Berkeley and I’ve been to screenings in SF and Berkeley.

Love this movie!!!! great comedy for all the family, Jesus ochoa is awseome, and the little girl (Ana Paula) extraordinary!!! I ecommend it absolutely !!!!!

Guillermo Navarro’s achievements are tremendously meritorious, no doubt about it, and he’s very deserving of the GABI Award, but to keep the record straight, Nestor Almendros, Cuban, was the first Latino to win an Oscar for cinematography with Days of Heaven (1978), Terrence Malick, director. Almendros was also nominated for Sophie’s Choice (1982), The Blue Lagoon (1980) and Kramer vs. Kramer (1979)

Love, love, love this film! I rarely say this about movies, but this one is worth it. It combines criminal suspense with heart-breaking romance in a way I’ve never seen, the ending is haunting… Five stars all the way!!!!!!!!!!
