Valeria, Vilma and Mercy are three members of a group of prostitutes living in Guatemala earning two dollars per service. They work at La Línea, by the railroad that runs across Guatemala City. These women dream of being treated with dignity and ending the violence they have had to endure. In order to draw attention to their everyday problems, they get together to form a football team, train for weeks and sign up for a local championship from which they are expelled for being prostitutes. This expulsion generates strong controversy in Guatemala, with support and rejection suddenly transforming their lives. This is their story.
Valeria, Vilma y Mercy pertenecen al grupo de prostitutas que ganan 2 dólares por cliente en la ciudad de Guatemala. Trabajan en La Línea junto a las vías del tren que cruza la ciudad. Ellas sueñan con un trato digno y con poner fin a la violencia con la que son tratadas. Con fin de llamar la atención a sus problemas cotidianos, se unen y forman un equipo de fútbol. Después de varias semanas de entrenamiento, entran en un campeonato local, del cual son expulsadas por ser prostitutas. La expulsión genera una gran controversia en Guatemala, transformando sus vidas. Esta es su historia.
