Hijos de la Guerra is the first feature-length documentary film about the world’s largest and most violent street gang: the Mara Salvatrucha, also known as MS-13. The MS-13 gang spans the Americas with an estimated membership of 100,000 people across the United States and Central America. The Federal Bureau of investigation has declared the MS-13 the fastest growing and most violent street gang in the United States. Hijos de la Guerra addresses the causes and circumstances that have fueled this gang’s ominous rise to power.
Hijos de la Guerra es el primer documental filmado acerca de la pandilla callejera “Mara Salvatrucha” conocida como MS-13. Fue declarada por el FBI como el grupo más violento y con mayor crecimiento en Los Estados Unidos. Se estima que tiene unos 100,000 miembros y que se extiende hasta Centroamérica. La película señala las causas y circunstancias que han alimentado el funesto surgimiento al poder de esta pandilla callejera.
