Ángel Lugo, a corrupt police captain, is responsible for the wrongly imprisonment of Mariano Farías and the murder of his pregnant wife. After 15 years in a federal prison, Farías is still determined to prove his innocence. For that, he recruits the help of the district attorney that originally prosecuted him. Meanwhile, Lugo is still trying to keep his involvement in Farías' case under wraps. Julia, a reporter, who receives exclusive information from Lugo becomes involved with him but soon becomes interested in Farias instead.
Ángel Lugo es un capitán de policía corrupto quién erróneamente encarceló a Mariano Farías por la muerte de su mujer embarazada. Después de 15 años en la prisión federal, Farías sigue determinado a probar su inocencia. Con tal motivo, contrata como abogado al fiscal que lo condenó. El capitán de policía trata de encubrir su implicancia en el caso. La periodista Julia recibe información exclusiva a través del capitán Lugo y mantiene una relación con él, pero pronto se interesará por el condenado.
