A mysterious dream presages the awakening of David de la Torre. Debilitated by numerous illnesses, David is a prisoner of his own bed. All this changes however when he meets Catalina, the beautiful daughter of the house maid. Her appearance in David’s life gives him the strength to go out into the world and they quickly fall in love. The adults that dominate their innocent lives quickly move to intervene in what they see as an inappropriate relationship. David’s journey to overcome these obstacles brings him into conflict not only with the grown-ups but forces beyond this world. The only question that remains is whether David and Catalina’s love will survive their parent’s wrath and the terrible secrets revealed.
Un misterioso sueño presagia el despertar de David de la Torre. Debilitado por numerosas enfermedades, David es preso de su propia cama. Sin embargo todo cambia cuando conoce a Catalina, la hermosa hija de la criada. Este encuentro le da a David fuerza para retomar una vida más normal y se enamoran. Los adultos que dominan sus inocentes vidas intervienen rápidamente al considerar inapropiada esta relación. David lucha por vencer los obstáculos que se le presentan. La pregunta que resta es si el amor de David y Catalina sobrevivirá a la cólera y a los estragos de los terribles secretos que revelarán sus padres.
