Salvador Martinez is a UCLA graduate from South Central Los Angeles with a passion for using digital media to build community, engage audiences, and drive brand growth. He’s contributed to social media campaigns for the Los Angeles Kings and Warner Bros. Pictures, gaining hands-on experience connecting with niche audiences and elevating brand presence. Now, he’s excited to spearhead social media campaigns for LFI, LALIFF, and YCP to further grow and engage our audience.

What’s your secret superpower (the one no one knows about)?

A superpower of mine that no one knows about is that I can give the cleanest fades this side of the Mississippi. Back in high school, I completed a barber apprenticeship and cut hair as a side hustle while in school. It’s been a while, but I know I’ve still got the magic touch.

If you could instantly become an expert in anything, what would it be?

If I could instantly become an expert in anything, it would definitely be making art. I love editing on my laptop, but there’s something special about creating a physical piece—like a painting—that really inspires me.
