Werq the World: Valentina
Thursday August 1 – 9:15 PM
TCL CHINESE 6 THEATRES
WERQ THE WORLD: VALENTINA follows the enigmatic Miss Congeniality (or Fan Favorite) of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9 as she tries to keep up with the fast pace and intense hustle of an international tour. This documentary episode finds a candid Valentina surviving the non-glamour of European flights and riding 13 hour bus rides across the continent, while speaking frankly about her long-time struggles with depression. And while her tardiness often upsets older queens along the way, Valentina’s charm ultimately steals everyone’s heart as she chases her true purpose in the spotlights of the stage.
